Hours Required for Certification: 500

Type of School: Board approved

Title/Credential received: Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT)

Type of exam used: National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

Fees Required: Application $20 / Licensure $150

Renewal Process: 25 CE Hours required every 2 years

Required Hours: Five years of professional experience & 300 hrs of massage training - OR
500 Hours - Course work and clinical work from approved massage school

Exams Required: NCETMB and Examination approved by the Director

Maintenance: Registration shall be renewed in accordance with the schedule set forth by the director.
